Furniture Removal in Union City
Old sofa, worn-out mattress, a dresser nobody wants. We carry it out of your home, load it and take it where it belongs. Usable pieces go to donation, the rest is recycled or disposed of by the rules. You point, we lift.
Heavy pieces out, nothing left at the curb
Furniture is the stuff people put off. It is heavy, awkward and hard to get rid of the right way. A sectional won't fit in most cars, and most cities limit what can sit at the curb and for how long. Leave a couch out too long and you can end up with a notice instead of a clean driveway.
We take that off your plate. Our crew comes to your home, carries the piece out from wherever it sits, and hauls it away the same visit. We don't dump it on the curb for someone else to deal with.
Before we load anything, we tell you where it is going. Good pieces go to donation. Metal frames and wood get recycled when we can. What's left goes to a facility that is allowed to take it. That is the part most people never see, and it is the part we take seriously.
What furniture removal covers
- Carry-out from any room
- Upstairs bedrooms, back porches, finished basements. We do the lifting and the stairs so you don't have to.
- Wall and floor protection
- We pad doorframes and lay runners on tight turns. A dresser coming down a narrow stairwell is how drywall gets gouged, so we plan the path first.
- Disassembly when needed
- Bed frames, bunk beds, glass-top tables and some sectionals come apart before they go out the door. We bring the tools and take them apart on site.
- Mattresses and box springs
- These are bulky and many donation centers won't take them. We haul them and send them to a place that accepts them.
- Donation and recycling sorting
- Pieces in good shape get set aside for donation. Metal from recliner frames and sleeper sofa mechanisms gets pulled for recycling where possible.
- Sweep-up after
- Couches leave dust, coins and the odd sock behind. We sweep the spot where the piece sat before we leave.
When it's time to call about furniture
It's too heavy for two people
Sleeper sofas, solid wood armoires and power recliners can weigh more than you think. Trying to move them yourself is how backs and banisters get hurt.
The mattress is sagging or has bedbug worries
An old mattress is hard to give away. If you suspect pests, it needs to be wrapped and handled carefully, not dragged through the house.
You're moving or downsizing
Moving trucks charge by space. Getting rid of the pieces you won't use before move day saves room and time.
The curb pickup won't take it
Many bulk pickup programs limit size, count or timing. If your piece doesn't fit those rules, it needs another way out.
A new set is coming
Delivery crews don't always take the old one. Clearing the room first makes delivery day go smoothly.
How a furniture pickup goes
- 1
You call us
Tell us what pieces you have and where they sit in your home. We set up a time for a free on-site estimate.
- 2
We look and give you a price
We see the pieces, the stairs and the doorways. You get an upfront price with no hidden fees before any lifting starts.
- 3
We protect the path and carry out
Pads go on corners and runners go down. Anything that needs to come apart gets taken apart, then we carry it out to the truck.
- 4
We sort and haul
Donation pieces are kept separate from recycling and disposal loads. Each one goes to a place that is allowed to take it.
- 5
Quick sweep and done
We clean up the spot and walk it with you. Nothing is left on your lawn or at the curb.

What moves the price of furniture removal
Price comes down to how much room your items take in the truck and how much work it takes to get them there. We give you the number on site, in plain terms, before we start. No surprise charges after the truck is loaded.
- Size and number of pieces
- One loveseat takes less space than a full bedroom set. The more truck space it fills, the more it costs.
- Stairs and tight access
- A couch on the ground floor is quick. A sleeper sofa from a third-floor bedroom down a narrow stairwell takes more time and more hands.
- Disassembly
- Pieces that have to come apart before they fit through a door add some labor.
- Items with special handling
- Mattresses, glass tops and recliners with motors or wiring often need extra care or a specific drop-off, which can affect the price.
Furniture removal questions
Something not covered here? (404) 991-6465
Do I need to bring the furniture outside first?
No. We go into your home and carry it out from where it sits. Just make sure there's a clear path and someone can let us in. If you'd rather leave it in the garage or on the porch, that works too.
Will you donate my old couch?
If it's clean and in usable shape, we set it aside for donation. Stains, tears, pet damage or broken frames usually mean a donation center won't take it. We'll tell you honestly which way it's going.
Can you take just one piece?
Yes. A single recliner or one mattress is a normal job for us. The price reflects the smaller load.
What happens to furniture you can't donate?
We break it down by material where we can. Metal and some wood get recycled. What remains goes to a disposal facility that accepts furniture, not a vacant lot or a roadside.
Do you take other things while you're here?
Yes. If you also have an old washer or a pile in the garage, we can handle it in the same trip. Our appliance removal and garage cleanouts pages explain those jobs.
